Cultural Dance Program – Coming in Early Summer 2025

In early 2025, DGD will launch its exciting Cultural Dance Program, a community initiative designed to celebrate Glasgow’s diverse cultural heritage through the universal language of dance. This program will feature weekly dance classes covering a wide range of styles, from Scottish ceilidh to Latin American, African, South Asian, and Middle Eastern dances. Open to all ages and skill levels.

Additionally, we’ll host Community Dance Days, offering interactive workshops, live music, and potentially food stalls, creating a festival-like atmosphere. The program aims to promote inclusion, well-being, and connection within Govan, celebrating the rich traditions of our multicultural community. By bringing people together through dance, we hope to foster unity, creativity, and a sense of belonging.
